about me

heyyy. i'm sam, or kaneda, like i said before. i'm a 16 year old boy, and i have a girlfriend who's the best. if you want to see what i think about all the time, you can check out my blog here. there are some of my interests on my actual spacehey profile, but you can choose to look at them there. right here is where i'll go more in depth to them. pretty cool, huh?

interests

music

as of the creation of this page, i am super into fall out boy. the band is awesome, pete wentz breaks my heart. in a turn of events that maybe no one alive would have pieced together, i also adore panic! at the disco, my chemical romance, and pierce the veil (sorry, charlotte. guilty favorite.) i also used to be very into car seat headrest, but i'm not so sad and not so 13 as i used to be. the scholars seems like an awesome album, though. maybe when i'm less lazy i'll add these all to a shrine page, but not for a while, lol. i have this strange sort of relationship that you'll probably see through all these sections, because i feel so boring with the things i consume. my music taste is pretty basic, but i watch the band interviews sometimes. i've lately been listening to a lot of hip-hop and heavily sampled music, because it itches a part of my brain that i identify with.

movies

i'm not sure how many movies i've actually watched, probably thousands. i'm always looking for more things to see, and i want to have a good rounded worldview. so far, i love fantastic mr. fox. there's actually a pretty good video essay which is short analysis on the film and growing up. personally, i connect with mr. fox's struggle a lot. in terms of direction, i have no favorites. i've seen plenty of classics but i feel like so often we are kind of expected to have favorites. i think tim burton's work with lighting is beautiful, i don't particularly like wes anderson because of his direction but more for his aesthetics. anyway, if there were some kind of list out there which was sam's favorite films, it'd look like this:

  1. Fantastic Mr. Fox - Wes Anderson
  2. Spirited Away - Hayao Miyazaki
  3. Death Becomes Her - Robert Zemeckis
  4. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - Stephen Herek
  5. Back to the Future - Robert Zemeckis

tv shows

you would never believe it based on my homepage or my spacehey, but i am currently transfixed on the x files. no blinkies for it here since i love love love my homepage, but oh my goodness. maybe when i'm less lazy i'll add some pics of them because they're so classic and endgame and me and my girlfriend. it's such a transformative show, it has genuinely beautiful direction. i am fox mulder irl. im so normall labout them ghgjrhtmg. i also like house m.d., except i got to a point where i got sick because i hate medical stuff like that :p house is so silly though he's just like me fr. some other shows i've been enamored by have been mostly anime, i love its always sunny, and also internet pplsz. speaking of which,

youtuberz

who do i love right now, well i think that there are so many people who are amazing. if you can, you should try to watch many new youtubers. go look at things you like. i love sam o'nella, thats a lifetime guy. tasting history with max miller is a really good for learning history quick and getting meal ideas (personally i'm a sucker for ancient greek eating :3). climate town is a good way to be aware of how we got here in terms of climate and how we can help. i guess i also really like history. as of late, my search has been a lot of philosophical video essays. when i was younger, i watched a lot of smosh, vat19, game theory, asdf movie, mark jack and pewds, ect. i still love them, but whatever. i'm also gonna include jerma985 because i've been binging his streams to sleep.

thats it for now, folks

maybe sometime i'll put some more, cool stuff here. mostly graphics, maybe something else. here's some other stamps and stuff that i couldn't quite fit anywhere else here :3
